Outlook Ostomy Support Group

The Outlook Support Group was formed 20 years ago and works under the supervision and guidance of the Bowel Care Team from the Royal Stoke University Hospital to provide friendship, support and practical advice for all ostomists, their carers, family and friends.

Our president is Mrs C Hall, Consultant Colorectal Surgeon. A member of the bowel care team is present at meetings.

We aim to provide a social setting where ostomists can meet other folk with similar problems, provide support and help each other in their life with a stoma.

Most meetings are held at Bradwell Lodge, Bradwell Lane, Porthill, ST5 8PS. We hold a large meeting each autumn when representatives from manufacturers are present with latest products and advice. Occasional coffee meetings are held at the Borough Arms Hotel.
