I will be undertaking some sessions in the future at the practice when needed but far less than I do now. It has not been an easy decision but I am confident the practice is in capable hands, your medical centre will continue to deliver excellent service, teaching and research which puts our patients at the top of its priorities.

I have enjoyed the friendship and support of staff and patients alike and feel extremely lucky to have worked in Wolstanton. I would like to thank all the patients for their warmth they have given me and allowing me to fulfil my professional ambition, that of helping people. It is what I came into medicine to do those many years ago, which seems like only yesterday. I will miss everyone and the professional satisfaction of being a Doctor.

I will be using the time to go fishing and exercise more often and travel further afield.
